A prayer of Saint Anselm
O my God, teach my heart where and how to seek You,
where and how to find You.
You are my God and You are my all and I have never seen You.
You have made me and remade me,
You have bestowed on me all the good things I possess,
Still I do not know You.
I have not yet done that for which I was made.
Teach me to seek You.
I have not yet done that for which I was made.
Teach me to seek You.
I cannot seek You unless You teach me
or find You unless You show Yourself to me.
Let me seek You in my desire,
let me desire You in my seeking.
Let me find You by loving You,
let me love You when I find You.
where and how to find You.

Saint Anselm's Leadership Commissions
Five Leadership Commissions were established in the fall of 2017 to help strengthen our community and open new possibilities for achievement and growth. Monthly Leadership Nights, involving the Commissions, the Church Vestry, and other interested parishioners have begun. Pray for the strengthening of our life, ministry, and missino through the work of the Commissions and Vestry.

Mom’s Together - a new group forming in 2019
Being a Mom is really important. It’s sometimes really wonderful, and sometimes really hard. Mom’s supporting each other and sharing good news can be a real delight. Saint Anselm’s will be forming a Mom’s Together group, aiming to bring together mom’s with young kids at home and in school. We will be sharing more information soon, but spread the word already to moms you know. It’s not necessary to belong to the parish to join the group. More to come . . .
Holy Graffiti
This summer generous parishioners and friends have been repainting our building.
Along the way, a wise rector in the diocese suggested inviting church members to write their hopes, memories, prayers on the shingles of the church before they would be painted.
Beautiful messages appeared! Here are some of them. You could call them holy graffiti.
