The Reverend  Jenn Pilat

The. Rev. Jenn Pilat (Rev. Jenn) originally hails from Columbia, South Carolina. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, where she received degrees in Music Education, Spanish Education, Spanish Language & Literature, and Educational Administration. Following a decade of service in public education, Rev. Jenn finally heeded the Holy Spirit’s call to the priesthood, and graduated cum laude from Virginia Theological Seminary, focusing in New Missional Practices and Criminal Justice and Reconciliation. Post seminary, Rev. Jenn served for 2.5 years as Interfaith Chaplain and Director for the Center for Spirituality at Seabury Active Senior Life Community in Bloomfield, CT and 1 year as Priest in Charge of All Saints’ Episcopal Church (Todos Los Santos) in Meriden, CT.

Rev. Jenn is also a Lieutenant (0-3) in the US Navy Reserves as a Chaplain, a rugby referee, and an avid collector of antique hymnals and micro brand watches. When she isn’t preparing for mass, Rev. Jenn enjoys drinking coffee, watching football, and singing songs from musicals- often all at once. Rev. Jenn is also on faculty at in the Liturgics department at Mercer School of Theology, on the Board of Managers for Camp DeWolfe, and in completing a Doctorate of Ministry in Liturgics at the Seminary of the South at Sewanee.

Rev. Jenn is married to Shelby, and they have 3 lovely children (Matthew-19, Toby-12, Teresa-10), 4 snuggly dogs (Rex-10, Gloria-6, Stella-4, and Penny-1), and a loud bird (Hubert-10).
