Building Community

Jesus constantly gathered people together. To listen. To talk. To share a meal. To be challenged. To comfort one another. To share stories. To share life.

We are here to do the same thing as a Christian community. Our goal is that we will be known by our love. Where God is invited in, there live joy and its parent, love.

Everything we do brings us together to strengthen community. We pray together. We come together for learning. We come together to work and serve, and to sit and share a meal together. Each and every one of these are moments of community.

Beginning with the fall season of 2017, we will be sponsoring events with regularity to bring people from the surrounding area and members of the church together.

Picture an evening meal for families, giving the family cooks a night off and bringing new friends together.

Picture an Oktoberfest, with everything save Munich right here. Picture a Battle of the Bands during which we raise funds together against the opioid addiction epidemic. Picture a Saturday Cafe with good food at a good price, great coffee, music playing and spiritual direction available to anyone seeking solace and direction in living.

Check our calendar often to stay up-to-date on what's next for Saint Anselm's community. It is good for us to be together. You're invited to begin to get to know us by stopping in as we pray on any Sunday morning.

Community Use of Saint Anselm's Hall

Saint Anselm's Great Hall is available for use for events such as showers, birthday parties and the like. The form below provides all necessary information and invites you to arrange a date.

We are happy to be able to provide this excellent space, and its attendant kitchen area, for the use of community residents.
